Mark Twain began his relationship with the Conklin Pen Company in 1903 and was featured in a famous advertising campaign proclaiming his preference for Conklin writing instruments.
This limited edition Mark Twain Crescent Glory fountain pen is constructed of celluloid in a deep purple color with a beautiful, intricate overlay in 18-KT gold vermeil. Mark Twain's signature and the edition number both appear on the cap of the pen. In addition, Mark Twain's likeness appears in sterling silver at the end of the pen's cap. The limited edition Conklin Mark Twain Crescent Glory fountain is a crescent filler.  The nib of this Mark Twain fountain pen is a beautiful 14-KT gold two-tone Conklin nib, which is medium in size.
