LARGE antique 1800s Dutch farm ornate gilt bronze brass fireplace tool poker set

Description

Up for sale is a very high quality early 19th century gilt bronze Dutch fireplace tool set.
the set is made of very thick gilded bronze and has large swirled tri-footed legs.
the large bronze hook plaque has an extremely detailed figural farm scene done in high relief.
this lovely set comes with a grabber, a poker, and a shovel and is topped with a large lion finial
.
they hang on peened figural hooks on the bottom of the farm plaque and have thick swirled
handles
.
it's in nice used condition and measures 50 1/2 inches tall by 17 inches wide.
there
is a movable windmill on the top of the plaque that has one arm broken off.
