Russian Soviet Rubber Gaz Mask is a special mask made for use by radio personnel, tank drivers or officers. The mask had a highly effective speech diaphragm on the front and ear holes on the side so that radio gear could be worn effectively. The mask was also used by civilians and civil defense personnel , The mask  made in Black Rubber have a size marked 2Y for size Medium, also have Russian Markings indicating the year it was made, 1979.
